F. Winkler construction company: Efficient construction site planning with SAM
F. Winkler is known for its high quality and precision in the construction industry and manages complex construction projects. Efficient resource and project management is essential in order to keep to schedules and optimize costs.
Initial situation and challenge
Before working with syniotec, Winkler had difficulty documenting the management and maintenance of its equipment in a structured manner. The company was faced with the challenge of organizing work processes efficiently and ensuring the necessary accident prevention regulations (UVV) and maintenance routines without having to rely on paper files and scattered files.

Solution through SAM
The real-time transparency and intuitive user interface ensure that site managers and foremen have an overview of the current status of the construction site at all times. The system enables Winkler to make faster and more targeted decisions, saving valuable time and resources.

Telematics and future prospects
Winkler has already made the switch from its previous provider to syniotec’s telematics components in order to improve resource planning and equipment billing. This switch enables Winkler to monitor the status of the machines more precisely and automate billing at the same time. Lars Keller explains: “We have already installed the location sensors in many machines and have even been able to find stolen machines.” Thanks to the partnership-based cooperation and syniotec’s ability to adapt the system to Winkler’s specific needs, the company is able to continuously develop and optimize its processes.
Further expansion and long-term vision
“syniotec is a young start-up, open to our requirements and suggestions,” says Keller about the collaboration. “This allowed us to play an active role in the development of the software.” Thanks to the flexibility and integration of various functions in SAM, Winkler now has a holistic solution for construction machinery and equipment management that can be easily adapted to the company’s specific processes.
Winkler plans to expand the system further in the future and document all employee qualifications in SAM. “The aim is to centrally manage and regularly update our employees’ qualifications, such as first aider training and road safety certificates.” This further development underlines Winkler’s vision of becoming a fully digitally organized construction company that focuses on maximum safety and efficiency.
