The path to digital transformation
In 2019, Stehnke Construction was seeking a digital solution for scheduling and managing internal resources. Through syniotec, they have found a flexible partner at their side who can solve the company’s key challenges.
Relief in everyday working life
What used to be done by calling various colleagues when requesting a machine can now be easily done digitally in syniotec’s SAM software. In addition to basic functions such as the clear calendar view and live machine location, there are now numerous processes in SAM that can be similarly automated.
SAM’s intuitive interface makes it possible to manage these steps with little effort. “This not only saves time, but also significantly creates less paperwork,” explains the construction worker Martin Lütjen from Stehnke. “Thanks to SAM, everything can be viewed digitally. My colleagues and I can access all the functions stored in the system from anywhere and at any time.”
In addition to SAM, syniotec also develops telematics. This refers to IoT devices that are suitable for every type of construction machine and device.
These telematic hardware devices are necessary to reliably and securely transfer machine data such as operating hours, live location, voltage or battery capacity to the software. Stehnke Bauunternehmung has now equipped its entire fleet with syniotec telematics solutions – including both large machines and small devices.
Stehnke Bauunternehmung and syniotec can now always look back on a successful partnership. But the coorporation is far from over. The potential opened up by digitalization in this large industry is far from finished. With this in mind, both SAM and the IoT are being continuously developed to keep up with the latest technology.
