Use Case I: AI-supported handover protocols

In addition to RAM, we also offer the RAM app, which optimizes the handover process for construction machinery. With the help of integrated artificial intelligence, the application analyzes photos of displays in order to read out precise tank levels and operating hours. The AI evaluates the degree of soiling and detects potential damage, which not only saves time but also minimizes sources of error.

With our AI-supported handover protocols, we automate important processes and thus offer an efficient solution for the construction machinery industry.

Use Case II: Nameplate recognition

During maintenance work, service technicians often document important information by photographing the machine’s rating plate. However, manually entering this data into the internal system is time-consuming and error-prone. We have developed a prototype for automated recording using artificial intelligence. Our aim is to speed up service processes and ensure the quality assurance of the data collected.

The AI reads data such as model type, manufacturer, product identification number, total weight, year of manufacture and total power from the type plate to enable precise data acquisition.

Use Case III: Digital tank verification

The refueling of construction machinery by external companies often leads to a lack of objective evidence. Our app enables drivers to take photos of the nameplate, display and fuel pump, which are then analyzed by an AI. This ensures complete documentation of the individual refueling of each construction machine. This method provides a reliable and transparent way of tracking the refueling of construction machinery and ensuring that all data is properly recorded.

At the same time, it offers the possibility of documenting the CO2 emissions of each machine.

Use Case VI: WhatsApp for equipment requests

In close cooperation with the construction industry, we are currently optimizing the equipment inquiry process. Our SAM AI assistant enables equipment requests to be forwarded directly to SAM via WhatsApp voice message. In the next step, the dispatcher can select a suitable machine and assign it to the construction project. The integration of voice messages digitizes and simplifies the process of device requests, while our AI technology ensures that all information is captured and forwarded correctly.
